Thank you for contributing your best wishes to our “Celebration of Life in Honor of Joan McNeill” held in New York City on October 16th.
Whether you attended in body or in spirit, you are invited to view and enjoy the Celebration Event via this video created for us all by film producer Eric O’Connor, and the photos below taken by Peter Davidian and Lisa Haim.
Thank you so much for this beautiful ceremony and video. I cried and laughed for 90 straight minutes. Joan was my one and only mentor, but now I understand the word isn’t big enough. She was my Anam Cara. Like those who shared, I did and would still do anything for her (I too was one of her ILP phone girls — animal girl Joan called me), because to honor her is to live, and love, and transform….and party every step of the way.
Thank you Charles for making it clear that Joan continues to love us. I know it must be true because she would accept nothing less and the rest of us need that much more. What a soul, what a life, our Joanie. Love Forever and Always, Julia.

What an honor and privilege it was to share with so many people a time to celebrate Joan’s life. It was inspiring and beautiful. The film shown was excellent. We all were fortunate to have been there.
Thank you to all who made it possible.

Dear Charles and Catherine, I am so appreciative of the chance to share in the celebration of Joan’s life via video. I, too, laughed and cried — and marveled anew at the blessing of Joan’s extraordinary life. You are in my thoughts and in my heart every day, as is Joan. With great love, always, Sunny

Dearest Angels, Charlie and Catherine,
Thank you for making this celebration a reality! It was wonderful to see and hug you both. Joan continues to be an inspiration. She gave us so many gracious and beautiful gifts. I am particularly moved by her spirit with being with the “mortal’ aspect of living. She was a woman of great courage and alacrity and lived life on her own terms. She is always in my heart and I am always grateful for having known this very, extraordinary, alive lady!
Love and peace to you both,
Elaine

Dear Charles,
Joan was my mentor from 1978 to 1991 in various projects in the Work.
She was my leader in IFLP. I was invited by her to be on staff. which, while honored, had to decline. I am a force to be reckoned with and Joan was my Inspiration, my Teacher, my Mentor, my Hero. My life is forever enriched by my knowing her and I know that she was greeted by Family and Friends previously passed, welcoming her into the next dimension. Your commitment to Joan is truly awesome. Joan will forever live in my heart.
Love,
Kat Fernandez

Dear Charlie and Catherine,
Thank you so much for creating this video of the celbration of life for Joan. I loved every second of it and it allowed me to be complete with one of my earliest and most powerful mentors in the work of transformation. Joan’s fiercenss, coupled with her joy and sense of fun and play is unmatched by anyone I have had the privledge to work with. She was an extraordinary human being in the truest sense.
Love to her and you.
